Care Instructions TOP

We recommend handwash/machine wash, line dry, and a warm iron if needed.  My daughter's headbands often end up in the washing machine (unintentionally).  I don't put them in the dryer (they will shrink), and simply use a warm iron if they are wrinkled.

Sizing TOP

Please refer to our SIZING CHART.

* If you want a custom size, simply write your head measurement in "comments to seller" on the checkout screen

* If your headband does not fit correctly, simply ship it back to us and we will re-size it for you at no additional charge.

 * If you are still unsure about the correct size, simply contact us and we'll help you choose the correct size.  We do not want you to end up with a headband that you don't wear because of the incorrect size.  We'll make sure it fits!!!

* Everyone's head is different, so please measure around your head where your headband will fit

To find the correct measurement, simply use a  tape measure (or string and ruler) and measure around your head where your headband will fit. Our headbands can be worn either close to your forehead or pushed back on your head depending on the style you want and the shape of your head.  Please measure the part around your head where you will wear your headband.

What's the difference between Girl/Little Girl/Toddler? TOP

A girl is age 5 to 16.  A little girl is age 3 to 5.  A toddler is age 1 to 2.  We try to organize the fabrics by age preference.  This is a tricky age to size, so please measure your little girl's head.  If this is for a gift, we can always adjust the sizes if needed.

Why is there only 1 in stock? TOP

We make a limited number of each headband in order to preserve their "one of a kind" quality.  It's fun to wear something that not a lot of other girls are wearing.  If you have seen a fabric that you must have, simply contact us to check on the availability.

How do I reverse the Lucy Band? TOP

The Lucy Band is made of fabric sewn around a flexible plastic insert.  Simply and carefully twist the fabric around the plastic insert.  Make sure you don't twist the plastic insert.  It is easiest to start in the center of the headband and then twist the ends.  Easy peasy...two headbands in one!

How do I choose the best style for me? TOP

Here are my thoughts about the different style bands...

First, the Christina Band.  If you can wear this wide band (2.5") without it "popping" up on your head, then go for this band.  This is a great look since it's different from your typical headband.  The wide fabric is eye-catching and definitely makes a statement.  The solid edge gives this band a completely unique look from any other headband on the street.

Second, the Sophie Band.  I created the Sophie band for girls that have trouble with the Christina Band popping up on the top of their heads.  Basically, if the Christina Band is too wide for you, then the Sophie Band will be perfect! And it's reversible!

Third, so the Christina Band & Sophie band don't work for you...?  For girls who don't like the elastic band style, I've created the Lucy Band just for you!  This band works well for short hair as well.  This style looks great with bangs and layers left down in front of the band.  This band will not hurt your head.  While it is technically a hard headband, the plastic insert is super flexible and the fabric softens the band.
